I previously owned a few zip front champion bras. They were a cotton mix and wonderful. It lasted me 3 years and 2 pregnancies! (Yeah, these zip front bras are great for nursing and sports). So since the older ones were getting, well old, I tried one of these.
Most importantly the zipper was bad from day one. It was very very hard to get a lock on the zipper, and after one week, the zipper just came off, making the bra useless. I checked the local store (perhaps I got a defective piece) but when I tried the zippers there, they also seemed to be the same poor quality - hard to hold and not very well made. And secondly, these are fully synthetic, no cotton mix, so not very comfortable for long hours of use.
If there was a way to give negative stars I would so. The zippers are that bad. Sigh. I have to look elsewhere for good zip front bras.
I bought this bra because I was looking for one that I could fasten in the front and that offered good support while running. The bra itself is very comfortable-the fabric is soft and there aren't any tags scratching, however it is not terribly supportive. I use this bra mainly when I'm lifting weights or doing low-impact cardio, as it did not keep me from bouncing much during runs. I'd buy it again.
